I am happy to say I just talked to Lori's boyfriend and she is out of surgery and doing good. Having some anesthesia issues but is in recovery. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. Please keep her in them and hope for a quick and speedy recovery.

Oh I know the feeling all so well..It's been complicated here as well; but the good thing is that we are fighters and nothing will keep us down too long. Right?

All is good here. My son started Kindergarten and my daughter began 3rd grade. Gia Makaila is 2 1/2 and talking up a storm. I am doing great just busy.

COngratulations Lori! I know you worked so hard to get here. Be prepared for the journey of a lifetime. Hope you heal up well and you'll be out racing around the hospital floor in no time. (although you might want to have some one else count your laps the pain meds can make you fuzzy - one night I thought I was at four times around the hospital floor when my wife told me I was just finishing my second lap - we still laugh about that one)
