Alright MD OH Family -- I get sleeved on Monday at St. Agnes

Let the final countdown begin; I get sleeved Monday at 10:45am. I go to St. Agnes in MD today for my final pre-op physical and for blood typing.

I've been on a modified hight protein / vegetable / liquid diet for 3 weeks. I've lost a couple pounds but question whether or not my liver shrank any. I'm concerned about that.

Otherwise, I feel good about surgery and am looking forward to getting in and out safely. Dr. Averbach is excellent and their operation is top knotch. I know that I am in good hands.

Please send up pre-surgery prayers and good wishes :-)

Good luck! And from someone who was in St. Agnes a few months ago, make sure you have someone with you the day of surgery to do anything you need and who is capable of kicking some hospital staff ass if need be.
