I know I'm not suppose to
Yes I am weighing myself every 2 days and I know it will come to a point of the horendous stall. But this morning I stepped up and the scale read 266.5 down from 272.0 2 days ago. I am enjoying my new sleeve and I know my body is using the excess fat due to me not eating anything, but I am only 8 pounds away from what I lost with the dreaded lap band. Anyway it's a happy day. Ok i'll say it " I to am a scale *****"
I didnt like scales even after surgery. I was weighed when I went to see my surgeon and that was it. It was like a lottery scratch off seeing what I won . Now that im not gonna break any scale I step on I do it every 2-3 weeks. If you do start to stall then hide the scale or throw it away.but great going on the loss so far
Dusty. . . .you scale *****!!!! lol Lucky for me, I don't have a scale in my house. I weigh myself at my parents house. I was going to purchase one, but I decided I better not. I don't want to be a scale ***** like you!!!! lol I can understand how you feel because I was on the scale everyday during my two week pre-op diet!!!! I'm so happy for you that things are going great for you. Keep up the good work!

I was a total scale ***** for the first 6 weeks after surgery and I'm talking, 2-3 times a DAY *****! ;) lol But I've recently cut back to once a week which was HARD but it was on the tails of TWO 2-week stalls where I nearly lost my mind. After that I tried only once a week and it actually makes me feel better because if I am stalling, I only have to see it once or twice (and I never see a "GAIN" like I did when it was every day) and if I'm not it makes me feel like a superstar because I see decent numbers.
I love this new term though...scale ***** lol! Awesome.

Don't worry about it. I am almost 3 years out and I weigh myself faithfully every morning when I get out of the shower. Get this - For the first year post op, I kept a chart, I wrote it down everyday and graphed it. LOL!!! Talk about obsessive. However, I must say, it kept me motivated. I also kept my food logs. When I saw the scale move up or stall, I checked the logs. Let me tell you, it helped me considerably. I'm not that bad now. So if you think you're a scale ***** what are you calling me???lol
Dusty, yea to being a scale ***** You have every right. Take care and good luck with that sleeve.
