Been off boards for awhile, but good news!
Hello fellow Marylanders! It's been awhile since I posted, so many new faces!!
I've good news though!! Finally hit ONEDERLAND!! Weighed in for 3 days now at 199 and 198! It's been a slow journey for me as I can't excerise like everyone else... but it's been a slow steady ride.
Also... my hip replacement surgery is Monday!! I've been so down lately waiting and dealing with pain and using a walker so didn't want to bring that energy to the boards. But it's finally almost here and I'm feeling more optimistic and getting nervous and excited as I did before my VSG. If all goes as planned, I can have the other hip done after 3 months, but if I can I'll wait until late February or March next year (would make 3 surgeries and Short Term Disabilities in same year!)

Of course I'll keep in touch and let you know next week when I get home!
May be at HCH for 2-4 days depends on my rehab. Dr. Horton said due to right hip also being bad, she'd order modified PT as neither hip can do full weight bearing. I just hope she doesn't send me to a rehab center after releasing me and let's me come home with home care PT/OT.
