Dr. Daniel Grant / Dr Babak Omeinolmolki feedback info
Hi & welcome! I had Dr. Moeinolmolki for my RNY in March 2008. He is a great surgeon, in my opinion. Very down to earth and easy to talk to, ask questions, etc. GBMC is a wonderful facility. The nurses weren't the greatest when I was in there, but I just made sure I did what I needed to do, and didn't rely on them for much. You'll have to pay a program fee, but I think most surgeons have that these days... it's a fee that is usually not covered by your insurance. Small price to pay though, really, if your surgery is fully covered. And in the scheme of things, it's a small price to pay for a HEALTHIER you in the long run. Dr. Moein has asked me to speak at a few of his pre-op informational seminars, and I always encourage patients in there to follow through with getting some sort of weight loss surgery, as it is a great tool to improve your life in so many ways.
Do you have any specific questions you're looking to get answered???
Right now we are getting the ball rolling for my husband. He has been trying to lose weight for several years now between dieting, the gym, spin classes, etc... and has only managed to lose 40lbs. He has an appointment with our Primary Care Dr today and is hopefully going to get a referral for the surgery.
How much is the program fee? About how long did it take you from start to finish to have your procedure? Any complications?
Can't go wrong with him.
Terri
