It is getting closer and the more it does the more NERVOUS I get.............but I am looking forward to my new body without the extra SKIN! lol
I have an AMAZING opportunity to get a tummy tuck and spiral thigh surgery done on June 14th at the hands of the very incredible immensely respected Dr Silverman. I know I am in the BEST of hands but I still cant help but to be nervous. I will have a drain for the first time ever so anyone who has dealt with one of those please share your experiences with me.
I appreciate all of the steady support from everyone on this board and I truly adore you ALL!!! Laura Lee is my angel for this surgery and when I hit the recovery room she will be the first to know I am ALIVE and WELL (ha ha ha) and she will be able to let you all know. Once again THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR BEING THERE TO SUPPORT ME!!!

Jilly,

Congrats!  Getting rid of the skin was awsome for me and how I felt about myself.  One of the best things I did was get a raised toilet seat, they are cheap and it was a lifesaver trust me it was hard to squat...lol  I also got a few extra pillows to prop myself up with, I did not have alot of pain but getting comfortable was the hardest part for me.  I was told to buy a lanyard (sp?) to hang around my neck to pin my drains to while I showered it was a great idea, I had a LBL and I had 4 drains and yes they are a pain to deal with. Hope all goes well for you and if you have any questions please let me know.

Thank you so much Steph!! Where can I get a raised toilet seat honey? I have never heard of that but GOOD LORD it sounds like a GREAT IDEA!!! I will be camping out downstairs for that week. I will get a lanyard too. I thought I would only need one drain. Will I need more? How big are they? That scares me more then ANYTHING to be honest. I will have two cuts on my tummy and one horseshoe cut on each thigh. Thanks again ~Jilly~

ROFL...

I'm starting to get used to be called TINY.

I might get a tee-shirt that says  "Don't call me TINY" when I get to goal...

You can get a raised toilet seat at Walmart for about $10.00.  You might only have one drain so don't let me scare you, they cut me all the way around so I had four.  The drain is actually pretty small about the size of a tennis ball and you will have to empty them and measure the output.
I don't know if you remember Sexy YaYa but she used the same surgeon and he did a beautiful job on her so you are in good hands.

Good luck Jilly!  I am super jealous!!!!!!  Can't wait to hear how it went, and see your wonderful continual transformation :)

I wish I could get p/s now but I am told I need to wait until AFTER I have kids.  *sigh*  I know it's for my own good... but I'm just too eager now!  I certainly don't want pregnancy to undo all of my progress.  But having p/s now would just be the cherry on top!

GO JILLY!
