hey for ya more veteran post ops than me, why is it that one meal you can eat like one bite of food, then the next time you can eat much more?

ex: i ate one scrambled egg and couldnt fini**** with no liquids or nothing, and this afternoon i was able to eat 1 small hamburger with cheese (no condiments or bread) 1 piece of spare rib, 1 piece of chicken strip, a spoonful of potato and macoroni salad, and was able to eat some watermelon all over a 2 hour period??

i dont get it??

yes thats what i had  at my inlaws BBQ today...

someone said it could be the change in fluids in your body. but it is normal. happens to me all the time. nothing you can do about it though other than being aware and trying to limit the amount when u feel bottomless pittish!

I was told - and do feel this way, and (for the dirty people get your head out of the gutter  LOL) - that we can be the tightest in the morning - regardless of what surgery we had.....

I am the same way. I have my own theories on my body. I think mine has to do with stress..lol...I know for me, it seems like there is always someone in my presence tha****ches me eat and in the back of my mind I am aware of that. I can eat more when I am alone then when I am with company. And like you I have days where I can eat 1 whole chicken leg then the next day only a bite of cottage cheese....
