Nessa I agree that the surgeons charge the fees, not the hospital...that's why I think that Dr. Liao's program fee is wrong on this chart. When I went in October for consultation and to the presentation, Dr. Liao said it was $600 for their program and that it's definitely NOT covered by insurance. Not sure if anyone has had surgery there recently that can vouch...
Just wanted to add... I had my VSG on March 11, this year with Dr.Liao (who I absolutely love) and the program fee was $500 They split it up in to two payments. I think I had to pay at the second visit and the fourth. It's his program fee and not GBMC's but they got enough money out of me too :) So far, it's been well worth it.
