I am feeling better and super excited. I just did my final weight in before surgery. Down 10 pounds since last Thursday.

I do have a question. I am on clear liquids today to prepare for tomorrow. Does this mean no protein shakes? I've put in a call to my nutritionist and waiting for her to call back.

According to my surgeon and nutritionist - the clear liquid stage does include protein shakes made with water, not milk.
Best to go by your surgeon/nutritionist dietary guidelines though. But I doubt you're gonna hurt anything by having your protein shakes and it will keep you from starving!
