I'm sleeved
I was sleeved on May 11th. Got discharged on May 12th around 5pm. At home sipping, sipping, sipping fluids. I thought I was going to be nerous going in, but I wasn't. I went to sleep woke up and it was done! So far so good, just have a pain in my left shoulder when i cough. It's not unbearable, but i feel it. My pharmacy has to the pain medicine my dr prescribe, but I'm just taking Tylenol. Have my 1 week follow-up appt. on Monday. My incisions look very good.
On a bad note, we stayed in the hotel nearby and someone came into our room and stole my husband laptop. They must have had a key to the room. I woke up around 1am and our room was open. Very scary. It was the morning of my surgery. We called and filed a police report, but of course, we are probably out a laptop. My husband was pissed, but I told him that it could have been worse.

I'm glad you're doing well. So sorry to hear about the laptop. I travel A LOT for business and I never leave anything in the room that's not in the safe I've programmed. While in the room, I always have the deadbolt turned and the slide bar lock engaged. I know they could still get in if they really wanted but I'd have a good chance of hearing them and screaming my lungs out! Perhaps your homeowner's/renter's insurance has a clause to help replace it.

Congrats on your sleeve. Glad you are doing well. I wish you much sucess in your journey. I am sorry about the laptop. I hope you can get it covered some how. What does the hotel say? I am sure they must have some type of insurance. I hope it will work out for you all. How scary.
