MONDAY'S GRATEFULS

Good morning!!  I'm off today.  Imagine that!  LOL  Dad's having a dialysis fistula inserted in his arm today (sort of a permanent port) to make his dialysis a little easier eventually.  He's had some rough couple of days, so I'm a little on edge, and any prayers, good, positive thoughts and swinging chickens would be appreciated!!!

Today, I'm grateful for:

1.  My energy levels - I did a massive amount of stuff this weekend (well, really, I crammed it all into yesterday), and I couldn't have done it pre-op!!!  Love my RNY!

2.  Bingo - I won the biggest pot on Saturday!!!  $43!!!  LOL  And promptly went grocery shopping, where I spent $42 and some change!!!!  LOL  But had a good time with Mom and the girls!

3.  Sean's back in town and tonight's trivia night.  I'm excited to see him and to see if we can kick some more trivia butt!!!

Have a great day!!!

Hi Tia,

Don't worry about your Dad getting a fistula.  Who's doing the access surgery?  I know of most interventional nephrologists in the area.  Designing Interventional Access Centers and Dialysis Centers are my (architect) husband's specialty.  We do work all over the country for DaVita Dialysis and Lifeline Access Centers.  (I understand Dad is with Porter.)  Anywho, it's a pretty simple procedure and he will be SOOOOOOO much better off with a port.

Keep us posted.

Hugs,

Terri
