I actually rode carnival rides!
I haven't been able to do that in at least 15 years, maybe longer, and I'm only 30. It was incredible! I have to say it was one of the best post-op moments I've had so far. It really proved to me just how far I've come, especially when I don't necessarily see it in myself. What an amazing feeling to be able to get on a ride and know that I'll fit. For the first time in my life, I actually felt normal. I absolutely love my RNY,
Brandi, I am happy for you. That must have been a great feeling. I can only assume you had a blast and felt like a kid again. What a great WOW moment for you. I wish you many more to come.
