I know it's hard but if you really want to make a quick attempt to lose it, go a liquid diet until next week. It's not easy at all but I lost 18lbs in two weeks on my pre-surgery liquids. I was limited to all low carb protein shakes and clear liquids, thats all! I was able to have a max of 30 carbs per day and betwen 600-800 calories.
I blogged about my liquids diet daily and posted my calorie intake, protein intake and carb intake.
Feel free to take a look. My liver was "beautiful" for surgery LOL.
My blog also has suggestions of the brands I use.
Good luck. I'd be interested in hearing if you try this route...and if so...post alot for support! I did!
Best,
Nikki
2-3muscle milks or whey protein drinks a day with a moderate and I mean moderate dinner ( 4oz of chicken or fish with a green veggie) and absolutely NO CHEATING until Monday c'mon you can do it. If you snack make it celery or carrot sticks. Remember NO CHEATING. You can make it through Monday and then treat yourself a little. Lots of water and some walking from now til Monday. It sucks but it works i have lost 11 pounds in 2 weeks doing it and I have another 25 to go before surgery.
