I can't shop Lane Bryant anymore!!!

Today marks my 5 months since my RNY and I went from a size 24 to a current size 12. I went into Lane Bryant today and found that they sold NOTHING in my current size. Boy was this a turn for the better!!! I just never thought I would see this day. I've lost 83lbs, but I've also had several stalls along they way. I know it's a lot of weight, but sometimes I compare my weight loss to others and feel that I should have lost more. Perhaps I shouldn't do that..Nonetheless I'm still feeling on top of the world. I can't shop the Women's section of Macy's anymore..I'm now in Misses and lovin it. It's been a great journey and I couldn't be more happy and this surgery has definitely been a god send. I feel better, look better and I see the world through thinner eyes :)

ha ha ha your so cute girlie.............. I recall that day when I could not shop there anymore it was like losing a family member or something! I had withdraws lol WAY TO GO HONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't compare your loss to anybody! In my 2+ years, I've only lost 90 lbs total, but I've gone from a 24 to 10 and have been happy right there. That was my goal. I didn't have a weight goal, I had a size goal.

I sometimes see some cute stuff at LB and wish they had it in my size but never enough to want to be that size again.

Kudo's to you! How exciting! And I agree... don't compare yourself to others! I know, I know... it's hard not to sometimes and I've done it too! But we're all on our own weight loss journey's and everyone has different body types, exercise abilities and so on!

You've done GREAT, and this is a great NSV you've shared with us! I look forward to sharing a similar post someday soon!

That's AWESOME!!! I'm so happy for you. I was in there yesterday using a coupon, and I was talking to the manager, who's become a friend, and I'm thinking this time next year, I'm hoping I don't have to shop there ever again!

Congrats! I went in there to get a free pair of panties yesterday and after looking around left with the same result. Its so nice to HAVE to go to a regular store to buy clothes! Way to go!
