WEDNESDAY'S GRATEFULS
Good chilly morning! Here I sit, with a jacket on, wearing sandals!!!! Now that my piggies are free, they won't see closed shoes again unless they're sneakers, until the fall! For some reason, our offices are FREEZING this a.m.!!!
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. It's payday!! Which means I treated myself to a day's supply of diet lemonade at Chick Fil-A, and I'll buy lunch out today, probably from the salad bar at Giant.
2. Sean's home tonight! I've really missed him! Don't know if it's love yet, but it sure is INTENSE LIKE!!! LOL
3. The sun is shining and it's supposed to be a BEAUTIFUL weekend!!!! Kaity has her first softball game on Saturday - we've got a great team this year, so it should be fun.

Today, I'm thankful that...
1. My dog no longer looks like a bear with a swollen face. We gave her 8 benedryl yesterday (per the vet's orders) and she's finally back to normal today. My pretty girl is finally able to show her big brown eyes again and that sweet sweet goggie smile!
2. My Colorado family is all excited for our upcoming trip. It sucks only being able to see them once a year (although we may get to see them twice this year - they plan on visiting in October!) and I miss them terribly. I have married into the best family in the world!
3. I'm nearly at the hump in my work month from hell - I have a ton of meetings scheduled the rest of the week, but most of my major reports are done and out of the way so I can concentrate on all that other stuff I have to do.
4. My friends...they make me smile!

The only ones who haven't seen pictures are my mother and father-in-law - they don't have a computer...but pictures and in person are different. I'm really pushing to be under 200 by the time I go - but I don't know if I can lose 25 pounds in a month - I'll have to bust my flat booty!
And yes - 8 benedryl. I was shocked when the vet told me, but she said the dosage was one 25mg capsule for every 25 pounds - and Sadie weighs 100 pounds - so she got 4 in the am and 4 in the pm. Oy. I'd be unconscious. And drooling.

PHEW!!! I thought you meant 8 at once! However, the dose is 1/2mg to 2mg per lb, so you could have gone up to 8 at once it you'd needed to. The following link gives you dosages of human meds that you can use for dogs:

Freezing?!?!?!?!?!? Girl, it was COLD at the ballpark last night! Me & Darla were said the next game would be when it was like 90 degrees! LOL
Today I am grateful for:
1} that Darla saw the O's beat the Yankees......even tho it left me & Kathy a lil sad.....it was a good game tho!
2} that my daughter is starting to feel better after a few days of antibiotics.
3} for friends & family! They are what keeps me sane in an insane world!

I BET you were cold. OMG! It was windy yesterday when I left work, so I know once the sun set, it had to be worse!! YIKES!! Glad you had fun, though!! I turned in to the last few minutes of the game, to see the Yankees come close. I love Kathy, but she is NOT a gracious loser!!! LOL
