I've been lurking on this board for approx 2 years. I was initially denied for surgery because I was a member of a small group insurance plan. Now I work for a company whose insurance completely covers my surgery. I've gone through all the so-called hoops, and now have a surgery date of 5/17 for RNY with Dr. Liao at GBMC. I'm so excited and feel like I'm getting a new start in life. Guess you'll be seeing more (and less) of me around here.
