I am now 6 months post-surgery. These are the pants I was wearing last year at this time (size 30, now I'm a 22):

On the down side, I'm starting to slide back into my pre-surgery eating habits, especially grazing. I need to stop. Just cause I CAN eat carbs now doesn't mean I SHOULD. Going to talk to Ranessa (the counselor in DVR's office) next week about that. I printed this pic out and it's on my fridge now :)

WOW!  Congrats on your success so far, Jess! You've done so well in only six months!

And you can be proud that you recognized your grazing is not good and will only lead you back into those pants.

Hi Jess!

Was just thinking about you the other day!!  You look GREAT!!!!  I LOVE Ranesa, she's DA BOMB!  I hope she's able to give you some insight - but it's great that you recognize the issue before it gets out of hand!

Keep up the good work,

Tia

Jess I can't see the pic at work but I'll check at home.

I had a 6 month visit with Ranesa myself... she's a huge help in this regard...

WOW, what a great job you have done. I am sure you must be so happy. Keep focused and remember you don't want to go back to those pants. Good luck.

You look amazing.  You know old habits are so hard to break.  I think posting the picture on you fridge is a good idea, so that you can see where you have come from.  Good luck as you continue you journey.

Congrats on your success thus far...you are doing GREAT!  It's really easy to fall back into bad habits but you are doing the right thing to nip it in the bud.
