Well, with all the running to the hospital I did and all the stress I was under, I did lose some weight - but not the way I should have!!!  I tried to focus on protein and fluids, but it was hard to stay in a routine being constantly on the go.  I'm hoping now that things have quieted down, I can get back to business!

Yesterday:

B - Greek yogurt with craisins and granola

L - Chicken and black bean soup

S - Two squares dark/raspberry chocolate

D - Greek grilled chicken salad, stuffed grape leaves

Today:

B - Greek yogurt with craisins and granola

L - Greek grilled chicken salad

S - Hardboiled egg whites

D - Cottage cheese/onion pancakes

All my fluids, all my vits!

Next!

It's a great recipe, Hojo!  I'll send it to you tonight.  The good thing about it is that if you omit the onion called for and instead sweeten it with Splenda and add cinnamon - tastes JUST like French toast!!!!

Meh...they were okay.  They are the brownie/choc chip cooke bars by Betty Crocker.  I lurve both of those but that mix wasn't all that great.  The Betty Crocker triple chunk brownies are my favorite!!  And obviously they are full fat, full sugar, and full carb.

Tia,

I am taking notes.  I have actually tried the Greek yogurt since I see you all listing it, it is quite good.  I am sure that the Greek yogurt will be one of my favorites after surgery.

Greek yogurt is SO versatile - if you like, you can sweeten it with Splenda and add fruit or s/f preserves or you can leave it plain and use it in place of sour cream.

I'll have LOTS of good ideas for you, never fear!!!

Hugs,

Tia

Tia,

Thanks for the ideas.   I never thought of adding any thing to the yogurt .  I will be holding you to your word, because I will need all the help I can get.
