Now the waiting begins for a DATE

Cool...well at least you already have everything done first.  When I had my consult with Dr. Schweitzer I was only on month 3 of the 6-month diet and then I had to go through the insurance approval before I got my date.  By the time I went through all of that my surgery date in October was 7 months after my most appointment.

Hi Linda,

It was really nice talking to you the other day. You email was very encouraging and helped me to stay focused, and the very next day, after I spoke of my sadness and discouragement, I was called with a surgery date! My surgery is now only 9 days away! I agree that the journey has been long but its really just beginning for us both.

I am actually amazed with my self that I taking this wait really well.  LOL,  I guess I really don't have a choice.   Let me know how you are doing this week, and course if you need to talk you have my number.
