did you ask the office staff?

it took  us a few weeks after approval with our doctor to get a date and then that date was a few weeks off too...

congrats... I think this is the hardest part.

I didn't use Bayview but know a few who have and if I remember correctly, it takes a bit to get a date.

I used Upper Chesapeake and got my date the same day as my approval.

i got my apporval on a thursday and had to wait till firday to talk to ms valerie and then got my date of may 13 which is the hardest then but its almost here now. mostly its the insurence letter that makes the wait so long you have to have that and they have to have it also before they can give you a date

highest:334
current:315
surgery:322
first weight since surgery: 314

I had my surgery at Bayview with Dr. Schweitzer.  It took about a week or so to get a date because after the practice is notified of your approval, they have to send it to a couple of different departments for review.  That being said, I would call them to find out how long you should expect to wait.  If you don't get an answer, or at least a satisfactory answer, I always had good luck in dealing with Christine Walsh, the Nurse Administrator.

Best of luck and keep us posted,
Heather

every doc is different, my surgeon said i only had to do a liquid diet for 2 days prior to surgery. the day before i had to drink 2 bottles of  mag citrate, so i didnt want to eat anything anyways!

i have seen as long as two weeks before surgery though. depends on ur surgeon
