I hope you found a new surgeon who has decided to go ahead with the surgery.  If you want to talk, I work in Windsor Mill - spend way to much time here... We also do lunch almost every Friday nearby if you are interested... 

hye angie!!  girl you are in york? god bless you and that commute down 83 and 695.  i will definitely take you up on that.  i live down from panera bread so it would be nice to chat with someone about this.

Hi everyone!!

Its been a while since I have posted.  School and life have kept me busy.  I submitted my paperwork on Thursday and I am just waiting to hear back.  I was told that lately my insurance company has been taking about 2 weeks to respond.  I know it can be earlier or later.  Right now, I am just praying for an approval.

Hi everyone!!

It's been a while since I have posted but I wanted to come back here and share some updates.  I have since found another surgeon, Dr. Singh and so far it looks like my surgery will be sometime in April--pending insurance approval.  Given everything that has happened, I am not over the moon yet, but I am definitely encouraged!  The dietician that I have Nancy Lum is fantastic!  Very encouraging and thorough.  I attended a seminar at St. Agnes yesterday and left feeling like, "I can really do this".  It was a lot of information, but I appreciated the fact that she is working with us to ensure that once we have the surgery, it is not a shock to my system.

I have also been seeing a therapist who is definitely on board, so she will be doing my psych eval and is so excited for me.  Her brother is a year post-op and he is doing very well.

So, I want to thank all of you that took the time to respond to me back in May.  It took me a while to get back in the swing of things.  I am glad that my goal of an improved me, before 40 may be coming to fruition.
