Pouch Party Announcement!

Thanks to Nessa, we'll be doing a "Shake it Up! Protein Shake Tasting" party at Dr. Von Reuden's support group on May 25th. Since this is a part of the support group gathering I think they want to limit it to patients from his office (I'll double check to be sure). If anyone is interested in having a similar party at their group (or one of your own imagining), PM me for details!

I look forward to seeing some DVR patients at the Pouch Party!

Umm, what is a pouch party?

A Pouch Party™ is a party where pre-op and post-op weight loss surgery patients come together to learn to cook good food that fits into a successful post-surgical eating plan! Most parties are hosted by someone in their home but some (like this one) are hosted in a support group setting. I am co-owner of Pouch Parties. Two active members of this board (Ladybugnessa and RoseyNo) have had parties in their homes and can probably share insight on what it’s like to host a party. From our perspective, they are great fun and folks get a lot out of them
