Glued Incisions????

I'm 100% now 1 week out. No Draining, No vomiting,  No pain, Eating pureed, feeling mostly perfect still wearing my binder tho.

I have glued incisions that never drained or anything and I think they are healed up so I'm wondering what do I do? Let the Dr take off the glue?  or take it off myself?
Not sure if there is something he has to use to take the glue off or if I do it myself and if I do it, with what.

Anyone have suggestions.

i think it just naturally falls off. the doctor doesn't have to do anything.

Mine just fell off on it's on, usually after I took a shower. There were a few "hanging" pieces that I may or may not have helped fall off though lol.

How long after your surgery?  I'm already a week out and they aren't even peeling.

I was probably 2 weeks or so out before it really started coming off.

I know that what ever hadn't fallen off by my two week appt, the surgeon took off.  No big deal, I'd leave them be.

I was afraid to pull mine off - I knew if I did it would either be a nightmare and start draining (silly fears!) or I would start scratching because they ITCHED and the tape was a reminder to LEAVE THEM ALONE.... :)

The doctor pulled all of mine off at my 10 day post op appointment and it did not hurt it at all - he just pulled gently... but they were not even slightly ready to come off on their own!  (if only band aids worked like that in water!)
