7 months down and no more plus sizes for me!
For the first time in my life, I can shop in the MISSES section! Even as a kid, I was still in plus sizes. (Sears' Pretty Plus, anyone?) It's so surreal to be able to walk into any store and buy a size large shirt...no X's!! Last week was my 7 month surgiversary and I've gone from a tight size 32 to a comfy 16 and lost 141 lbs since the day of surgery. If you count what I lost pre-op, I'm officially down 172 lbs.
Thank you letting me toot my own horn. I'm afraid my friends and family are going to get sick of me. :)

What an accomplishment. You should be so proud of yourself. Don't stop tooting your horn. One thing I noticed going from Plus to Misses - it can be overwhelming. The plus department was so protected - not much to choose from. However there is sooo much in Misses - I didn't know how to shop - I still don't. Now I stick with Petites - that's protected too. lol. Good luck as you continue your journey. Karen

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
Those that mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind.

Congratulations, Brandi! It feels so good, doesn't it? I breeze by the women's section, point over my shoulder at it and tell my husband "Never Again!" It's liberating! Enjoy your continual downward trend and shopping in all the boutique-y stores: Charlotte Russe, Victoria's Secret, Anne Taylor, Sak's, bebe, BCBGMAXAZRIA....they'll all be at your skinny fingertips! Save your $$$ cuz, darnit, it's so much fun!
