After my 3rd trip to the ER in 4 months,  test after test, bruise after bruise and a new found love for intravenous Dilaudid. I am finally getting my my gall bladder REMOVED!

It has certainly been a hindrance in my overall WLS experience and probably has caused me some set backs due to stress and pain, hospital and Dr. visits etc.

I'm ready for it to go!  I hope my last ER visit was on Tuesday and I don't have anymore before surgery although I will deerly miss the pain meds - not the pain just the lovely drugs that having you high a kite in less than 60 seconds!

Cholecystectomy is schedule for Friday, May 14.  My WL Surgeon will be doing the surgery and he is nice enough to go in through my previous scars!   I wish he would lop some skin off while he is at it hahaha!

2 surgeries in 8 months!  BRING IT ON!

I am so glad they are taking it out. I hope this will give you some much needed relief. You have really had your share of pain and trips to the ER. Your new avatar looks great. Good luck I had mine out years ago and it was a breeze.

Good Luck!
Glad you are getting some relief soon!  I begged Dr. A to remove mine during my WLS but alas he said no because it was "too healthy..." I just did NOT want another surgery EVER and would have given up ANY non necessity organs!

Boy Nikki, I have never seen someone so excited to have surgery(unless it's WLS or plastics) LOL  I hope things will get much better and the  gall bladder is  the culprit for all the negative you have been experiencing. BTW do you know how much the gall bladder weighs?? If it is a significant amount, I have a few organs that I could spare!! LOL   GOOD LUCK,   Leslie:)
