Uhh question for those more experienced than I. How do I stop losing weight? Dr A was pleased with my weight loss so far,, but said I had lost enough,, I feel like I am eating non-stop,, but continue to lose. I feel fine,, I don't know what to think. Should I be worried yet?

Hi Tom,

I went through the exact thing and went 10 pounds below my dr's goal.  Your body will stop losing.  You just have to add good calories to your diet.  Complex carbs & cheese are a good source.  If you weigh 194 your protein intake should be 1/2 of your weight plus 10 more.  Try not to take more than that.  Your weight will stop then you will be fighting to keep the weight off.  Trust me on that one!

Have a wonderful day!

Cira

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

WOW! I wish I had that problem!  My mornings, days and evenings are filled with stress and still nothing!

I am not trying to belittle your issue with losing weight that you want to hang on to, it's just like the grass always looks greener! I do hope you can find a way to maintain without the constant weight loss. Have you spoken with the Nut(Dietitian) @ your Docs office. The Vitamin Shop has those powdered milk shakes that have a lot of calories, it is actually for weight gain. Maybe that would help!  Good Luck, and if all else fails.....I will be happy to give you some of my excess weight! LOL

Gosh Tom, I wish I had a solution for you but I find that your body (our bodies) have minds of their own. If you are not having diarrhea or vomiting and your lab work looks good then I would say keep doing what you have been and it should balance out.  Didnt the doc have any suggestions? I am like some of the others, after losing 40 since surgery and 50 total I am almost at a dead stop and only 3 months out. I really thought it would be much easier/quicker then this?  I will keep you in my prayers that the weight stays stable.

Hey Kelley,,

Don't worry about stalls,, I did that all the time. The losing will start again,, you will stall again,, ect ect ect.

I feel fine,, no diarrhea,, vomiting or anything like that,, unless I cause it by eating too much,, or the wrong thing.

Thanks,
Tom
