Alcohol
Unfortuntely, at the six month mark I learned that I could drink again.
In fact, I could drink ALOT with no adverse affect on my blood work. So now I'm eating right and exercising but I have this bad drinking habit. I'm maintaining my goal weight and all but I can't help but believe that my drinking habit is somehow not good for me.

I'm a fomer Kahluah and cream drinker just like you. I have found that after my RNY (4 years post-op) I have remained a little lactose intolerant so I had to put the Kahluah away =(. Never having been much of a drinker I will occassionally have a Jack Daniels Lynchburg Lemonade. You have to drink it really slow because it does have carbonation but as much as soda. And I will warn you now... I feel the affects of the alcohol at about 1/2 a bottle. Good luck to you.
In a social situation I have tried about a 1/2 or less of a beer in a cup and I find I don't have the taste for it anymore. I've never tested the dumping because it's too soon to find out (I'm afraid I won't) That being said I just drin****d tea while out with splenda. I was never a big drinker anyway.
