What are your weekend/holiday plans?
I know many of you will probably be celebrating Easter. Will you be doing anything special? I would normally visit my family in jersey but I was just up there. I personally do not celebrate Easter on my own so no plans in that area.
The great news is my cousin is driving as we speak and will be at my house by the time I get home. So we will be busy getting her settled in and moved in once the movers get there. I'm so excited! This is a major lifestyle change for me. for the past 9 months i've lived alone and for most of my adult life really. It will be nice to have another person to be around so I'm not alone so much. She also has had lap band and has lost alot of weight but we both have more to go so we are gonna team up.
So what are you doing this weekend?

Normally Sunday would be EASTOVER but we have other plans so we moved Eastover to next weekend. I think I like it the Sunday after EASTER... more time to plan and cook...

Brian and I are heading to Hershey PA with friends (Norman and Amy and Lee). Originally it was to see the TSO concert. It's MORPHED into a great weekend

Sounds like you are excited????? Thats great. One of my cousins lived with me awhile back, it was good, but when it was all said & done, I was glad to have my home back to myself when she left!
Our weekend isnt too bad........ hubby's load got all screwed up so he is still in the Mid West and its not looking like he will be home until Monday. I think the kids & I are having dinner with my mother Saturday evening, and my brother & his family will be there. Then Sunday I think I am going to church with my MIL, and then having dinner with her family.
Ya know, I never questioned this before, but why are all our holidays food related?!?!?!? I have been to several family dinners since my surgery & I can resist most of the stuff, and know when to say when........ but dang, Easter was always my favorite! I am making a SF pretzel salad and deviled eggs to take to my moms.
The rest of my weekend will be spent basking in the sun while working in my gardens! Woo Hoo......

No Matter How I May Change, I Will Still Be ME!!!!
i am excited but definitely not going to be a permanent thing. just til she gets her life in order. hopefully no more than a year. but i need someone to help me move on w/ my ex and not being alone all the time will help alot. plus we can hopefully help each other lose more weight. sorry that your hubby won't be home but sounds like you will be busy. have a wonderful weekend and i definitely love the weather coming up!

SF pretzel salad...... this is going to be new for me. I am going to make it the same way as regualr pretzel salad, however, in the crust, I am using I cant believe its not butter, instead of full fat butter, and then I am using full fat crema cheese, nsa coolwhip, and splenda instead of sugar. And then of course sf jello.......
I will let you know how it turns out!

Nothing planned but maybe go to the Baptist church sunrise service over the Chespeake Bay.
Always nice and they have a breakfast afterwards. Not planning on reunited with the Baptist but willing to donate for the breakfast.
Thought about heading to DC but the crowds are hugh and I dont do well in crowds, but the people watching is fantastic.
Just a note, I did some people watching the other day and I looked for fatties. Not to many maybe one in 50-60. Maybe we're gett'n it.
