For anyone who has met Hannah...

my Hannah pup is sick...

she's 8
she has a chronic UTI issue.  seems it's how she manifests LYMES disease.


4 weeks of antibiotic for her now... oy... do dogs get yeast infections???

 My dog has had a yeast infection in her ears before and a staph infection on her skin from chewing herself when she got fleas as a pup.  So sorry to hear about the Lymes disease... I am sure after the antibiotics she will be fine!

Poor pup.  My dog gets yeast infections in his ears from his wheat allergy.  Adding a plan yogurt to her diet daily would not hurt.

I second adding yogurt to her food.  We were dealing with issues with both of our dogs & they were put on antibiotics.  I added yogurt as well as a proenzyme powder to their food.  Now it is a daily thing for breakfast for them. If I try giving them their food without it, they just stand there and stare at me. lol

Antibiotics for dogs do have the same effect as they do with us as far as depleting the good bacteria in their digestive system.
