ISO Therapist

Anyone seeing a psychologist/LCSW/Therapist of any type that they really like and recommend?

I've been in and out of therapy my whole life but only lived in MD 2 years so haven't seen anyone since being here.

Ideally looking for someone in Montgomery or PG county, someone who works with WLS patients but also has experience with other stuff like anxiety and OCD.

Any recommendations would be great... I do get some out of network benefits on mental health so not completely limited by my insurance.

Ugh, I don't think there's any way unless she does late nights or weekends? I'm going to try out someone through my insurance and if he totally sucks I might be back here asking you.

Actually she does do Saturdays on occasion :  and I see her as late as 6:30 PM during the week

Thanks! It's still a killer far drive and I don't even leave work till 7 or later most nights. So I'm going to try this guy I found through my insurance who sounds pretty good. But if I don't like him after one visit I'll be ready to drive further to find someone.

I have heard that Karen Street in Crofton is good. I have no experince with her but heard she does deal with WLS patients.

Well, Judith Berk in Owingsmills is good, can get later appts,, I have had them as late as 7 or 8 pm,, but still a drive. Let me know if you want more info.
