6 month visit with DVR
well well well I'm not a failure.
I've lost 62% of my EWL so I'm well on track to get to goal...
my blood work is stellar in fact I have to reduce my b12 by half..... everything else will stay the same.
we talked about the fact that I had minimal hair loss.... he wants me to discuss this at support group.... he feels it's because I'm getting 100g of protein a day (mostly with shakes), that I'm obesessive about my supplements (multis, iron, C, D and b12 as well as colace and magnesium oxide) and that I am getting a LOT of essential fatty oils (from fish and avocado mostly)....
I try to eat 1/2 a small avocado DAILY (yes I told him this) mostly so I have enough fat to go potty.... but apparently it helped my hair. Now yes I lost hair.... and some days more than others... but I have no THIN spots.... just a bit more loss than usual.
they were THRILLED with my gym routine (30 minutes cardio 4 days a week longer on the 5th day--3 days of yoga (1 hour each) and 2 half an hour sessions with my personal trainer) and gladly wrote two notes for my Flexible Medical Spending for my vitamins and the gym and trainer....
