Dr Averbach Lap Band patients

My partner was with me the whole time and I imagine might have stayed the night given how terrible the care was (he'd planned to go home before we got there and saw firsthand what I was put through.)

Luckily, I was released and didn't have to find out if they get pissy if your husband stays.

I had a private room only because they didn't bring anyone else in. It was designed as a 2 person room.

 I had a private room, and my Mom and Husband were allowed to stay as long as the wanted; no one ever said anything about "visiting hours"

Thanks Stephanie, that is really good to hear, maybe now my hubby will be a little more at ease....
Well, I'd better get some rest, gotta leave around 7 to get to the hospital.

STRANGE,, I had RNY at St Agnes,, the staff was great,, There was one nurse that I had communication issues with,, (she had a DEEP island accent) but overall had a great stay. Maybe guys get special treatment I don't know?

I was approved for an overnight stay but my surgery was at 7:45 am and by 8pm I was ready to check out. Sorry to tell you but the nursing staff are pretty substandard so make sure you have someone there at the hospital with you to take care of you and all the better if they've got a strong enough personality to help get things done for you.

Anyway, I got out of there at 9pm mostly cause we told them the pharmacy I had to stop at closed at 10pm and we needed to stop and get my Rx. This is after, at 6pm they told me we could go get them filled at the St. Agnes pharmacy which closes as 6. Doh. So guess having a real deadline helped them move quickly and I was out.
