Sorry About The Topic - NEED HELP/RECOMMENDATIONS

At our monthly support group, the bariatric nurse recommended Probiotic.  I ordered some from Bariatric Advantage and take it daily.  I still need Colace maybe once a week, but it has helped.  Can't hurt to try it.  It took about two weeks to get effect.   Good luck.

Nikki - I had called my doctor when I was just like you and recommend I relieve myself with 2-3 enema's when I get like that.  Then take colace everyday and it SURE has helped.  And while enema's are no fun they sure do the trick and provide instant relief.

I've not had this problem but I can tell you that my "clean out" prior to my hysterectomy
is Miralax the day before.  Oh that's right I never said anything on the board so I may as
well ask for prayers  now.

Due to very painful TOM's I have decided on a full Hysterectomy -  date is April 13th.
Any prayers will be much appreciated.  To those who have had ablations  or are thinking
about it:  they help with excessive bleeding but not the cramping and backaches-
I don't regret doing it last July -  it lessened the bleeding so I was able to leave
the house LOL - just didn't take away the pain.

2 Digestive Advantage (Gas Formula) at night before bed has been doing the trick for the past 2 years.  I did the Colace but it didn't work for me.

I always had major issues before sirgery then after surgery it got really bad. My surgeon suggested I take benefiber every day 3 caplets 3 times a day to keep me regular.  It took a few weeks to work great but I didn't have to take the mirelax or colace anymore.
