St. Agnes on 3/17-3/18

Thanks!! I actually did better than a green pin for my PJ's, I got a great Irish themed shirt from Walmart (it's soooo tack!!) I will post pictures ;) 

I'm hoping that since I'm doing lap band and only get about 24 hours in the hospital anyway, that I'll be up and at'em a lot more quickly but you never know. I'm bringing my netbook loaded with movies.  Can anyone speak to the "no cell phone" rule? I read this on St. Agnes's website but I'm going to be SOL without my cell phone - no one will be able to get in touch with me or me with them.  How strict are they on that?

oh please we all had cells.  and we used them.  I paid the extra and had the TV and kept that on. I did not have the attention span for a movie... (oh wait I barely do now)

and you may want to rethink that TEE shirt... you will have tubes and IVs and yuck and stuff you may just want to wear the hospital gown...

The t-shirt was for when I arrive in the morning. I was assuming I wouldn't have much choice for what I wear after that.

Glad to hear everyone ignores the cell phone rule.

 I lived off of my Cell phone, I didn't want to bring my laptop with me, no one said a peep about me being on it.  I just turned to volume down (it has a really loud vibrate) and was text messaging  and chatting most of the night (sleeping all day, I was awake most of the night)

Most hospitals have given up the cell phone rule... I don't think anyone enforces them - if they even have them!  I have seen nurses, doctors, etc on their phones lately!
