Good Psy*****alvert County??

Anyone know of a good psy*****alvert County familiar with WLS?  I need to get my "clearance"

St. Leonard is in southern calvert county - we are south of Prince Frederick and north of Solomons.  We are surrounded by water - but we don't live on the water - wish we did tho!  :-)

Yeah I need to get this psych clearance done and April 6th is my 6th month supervised weight loss so hopefully I can submit to insurance sometime that week.  Then my surgeon wants me to get a heart clearance, lung clerance, endo testing and see a nut.  I have my heart test scheduled and my nut appt and my endo appt (they couldn't see me until April 16th!  I booked the appt with them about 2 weeks ago... I didn't know "blood" docs were so in demand!  :-)

Thank you for the luck - I will probably need it all... I'm going to Dr. Greenbaum in NJ to get the DS.  Not that I doubt his skills it will just be hard to be away from home right after a major surgery and I've never had a major surgery before and I don't have kids so I have no idea what my pain tolerances are.

No worries about the pain, they should have you on a morphine pump while you are in the hospital, and I'm sure they will you some goodies to go home with! Just Friday(yesterday) I was told that no Dr in Md does the DS, so I am assuming that is why you are going to Joyzee!!  LOL  Where in Jersey are you going?? I have a lot of family in the NY-NJ area. Seems to me @ this point you might need patience instead of luck!   Keep us posted, Leslie:)

I will be going to Willingboro.  It's about a 3 1/2 hour drive.  Dr. Schweitzer does the DS (but only in a 2 step process now... first he does the VSG part then the bowel part) There is another Dr. in Baltimore that does it... Vangurri I think, but he only does it open.  And then there is a great surgeon in VA, Dr. Elariny that does it, but he charges a surgeon's fee on top of what the insurance pays and he said it would be about $8,900 for me and I just can't afford that right now as I work for a real estate attorney and needless to say I'm sure you know what the housing market is like.

So that's why I am venturing to Joyzee :-)  I have heard nothing but good reviews about Dr. Greenbaum and I liked him after speaking with on the phone.
