Surgery date

Hello everyone,
I was just notified today that my surgery will be on 4-12-10. I am so happy but a little scared that the big date has been set. Is there any advise anyone can give me to prepare for the big day?

It will be here before you know it, trust me, I feel like I just got the call yesterday and now my surgery is 10 days away.

WOW!  It's a month away!  It's normal to be nervous, it's a good nervous, part scared, part excitement! You will do great, a new beginning, so exciting.  On this board there are a lot that have had RNY, so keep posting, and don't hesitate to ask any questions. Good Luck,  Leslie:)

best advice follow your doctor's rules.

and KNOW that life after surger will NOT be anything like what you think it will be AND what works for me will not work for you or anyone else.


best advice... be open to new experiences.  listen to your doctor. follow the rules.  don't overthink this

oh and a big one.... when you are stalled STAY OFF THE SCALE!
