I'M FINALLY HOME!

Hi Gang!

I'm finally home.   I had the ERCP this afternoon, and there were no remaining stones, debris or sludge in the liver, bile duct, or common bile duct.  But there was inflammatory evidence of one having passed.  I also had a procedure while they were down there called a sphincterotomy (don't laugh....not on my ass) where they make a lateral cut on the opening of the common bile duct that will allow everything to pass through.  As soon as he made the cut, the bile started flowing well again (sorry maybe TMI).  My liver enzymes are back to normal again and the pancreas inflammation is mostly gone.  I DID NOT have any strain of hepatitis.  All of them came back negative.

One of my nurses said I was like a classic House, M.D. episode: a different diagnosis each day til somebody said something in a conversation with House that triggered his mind to suddenly come up with the right one.    Sitting here tonight in hindsight, I realize that I feel better then I've felt in weeks, maybe even months.  This was working on me for a while and only became acute this past week.  I am looking forward to feeling good, and having a great Spring and Summer.

So, again, I thank all of my Maryland Friends for your continued thoughts and prayers to help pull me through this.  I felt the love!!!
