Post-Op Protein Problem
My surgeon didn't care how much protein I got that early out as long as I was getting in some. I did 8oz a day of a protein shake - 2 oz at a time split up over 4 times a day. You should also be careful with milk this early out - a lot of people become lactose intolerant after surgery.
Just make sure you are sipping and not gulping and take it slow. You may also want to try the special K protien powder that you add to water like you add crystal light. It helps me get an extra 5g of protein in here or there on light days. And jello has protein in it.
