Well, I made it home from the hospital yesterday. I feel like a human punching bag. I was not able to sleep in the bed last night so I sleep in my husband computer chair. I almost didn't get to dome home yesterday. They were thinking of keeping me another night because I was so sick on Wed following my surgery on Tues. I think I had ever doctor on my floor in my room Wed. The good thing is the second anyone heard me vomitting the heard came running to my aide. It seems I am little more sensitive to anethsia then they thought.

Aw, Christina, I'm sorry you had some problems.  But I'm so glad you're home and on the loser's bench.  Hang in there - truly, the next 6 weeks will probably bring the most challenges and feelings of "WTH did I DO???" but it WILL get better.

I am minutes away from Essex in Middle River, so if you need anything, let me know!

Hugs and congrats!!!

So sorry you had to go through that.  Now that you know your sensitivity, any surgeries in the future, tell the anesthesiologist beforehand and they will give you an anti-emetic before waking you and for the first 24-48 hours.  Believe me, the difference is day and night!

Take care.

Terri

Wecome home and I am so sorry you had a rough experince. I hope you are feeling better soon. I am sure you were so happy that you had good care. That is a plus. You take care and get some rest. Your body has been through so much. Good luck and I hope your recovery is uneventful.
