Fill Question
So I got my first fill of 2cc's. I was banded and had 3cc's put in the day of surgery. Which has me at 5 cc's. My surgeon said if I'm not full off of a small amount of food within a week, to schedule another appointment as soon as possible. Well, I just ate a regular amount of food with little restriction. Bread even went down without a problem. I feel a small amount of tightness in my chest, but not uncomfortable. Would I be jumping the gun to schedule another fill next week? Should I wait? What do you think?

Your not pushing the issue get your fill appt.. I never heard of a doc putting a fill in at surgery mine didn't because he said the stomach needs the healing time before a fill. I no longer have the band because mine failed me. Also don't push to see how much you can put in because one day when you get stuck it is an awful feeling so really don't push just to see if you can do it I did and I paid for it dearly. In case your wondering my port rejected and came to the surface of my skin and he remove the whole thing. I will be getting the sleeve in May which I wanted in the first place but was denied 3 times for it so i negatively went for the band and lost 55 Lbs. before it failed. Good Luck with it.
