Whew!  Halfway there.  Seems like everyone I talk to is having a rough week this week.  And the weather's not helping, since they're calling for more snow tomorrow.  Here's hoping and praying that we don't get socked again.

Today, I'm grateful for:

1.  I was able to get up a little earlier and make coffee at home - saving myself time AND money!

2.  That I've still remained carb free - a whole week has passed and I'm still alive.  AND.....I was able to walk past the displays of Easter candy in Walmart and not fall out!!!  LOL!!!

3.  That Dad's remained pretty much smoke free for 10 days.  Keep your fingers crossed!!!

Have a great day!

Good Morning All

Tia-  YAY for Dad on smoke free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today I am grateful for

1.  Theraflu vaporizing Patches :  a new find and a good one for people with colds!

2.  For feeling half way human again

3.  That the forecast is for only 2-5  inches -  last year this would have freaked me out
after the last month this is nothing LOL

Have a good day everyone

Thanks for the tip on the vapor patches - I'm going to get Mom some today.

Glad you're feeling better - just keep an eye on it so you don't relapse.

Aren't we funny?  2-5" seems like FLURRIES!!!!  LOL

Hugs,

Good luck to your dad. I saw what Jeff went through to quit and it's hell and nobody who ahsn't been through it or seen somebody go through it understands how difficult it is.

3 things for today:

1. It's Wednesday! This week just seems to be dragging. Or it could be my behind that's dragging. Either way.

2. My husband, 'nuff said.

3. My running shoes. Before I got them, the run yesterday would have illed 1 or both knees. But, the shoes are amazing. I ahrdly felt anything in my knees. Now, if I could get my hips to understand that they are only 33, not 103!

Thanks, Sylvie!!  It's vital that Dad STAYS quit!!!!!  His health has already been compromised, so there'll be no improvement, but maybe it'll buy him some more time.

I agree - BOTH are dragging!!!

Maybe once you run some more, your hips will get the memo!!  You go!!!

Had a rough day yesterday!!!  STRESSED, STRESSED, STRESSED . . . did I say STRESSED?

So here is what I'm grateful for today:

1.  That yesterday is over.  I don't know what today will bring, but I was blindsided yesterday and let's just say the "SH . .  hit the fan."

2.  That I didn't eat Lewis's entire birthday cake.  I did have a fork-full but was able to stop myself.

3.  That even though the scale hasn't moved in the past 3 days (in fact, it says I'm a pound heavier today than yesterday) I still have not given up on myself.

4.  Today is lunch out with a friend and a customer and I have committed to make a healthy choice.

Yay to your dad for 10 days!  Yay to you for one week without the CARB monster on your back.

Today....

1.  That yesterday is over and I don't have to deal with Feb. 23rd for another 365 days.

2.  Benedryl - my mind was in overdrive last night and the benedryl shut it down

3.  The fact that I can now actually walk the six blocks to work from the bus stop and not be completely winded when I get here.

Rough day - and rough week ahead....laying low!
