Snack Ideas
Okay, so I have re-dedicated myself to getting to my goal. I posted on the "3 thing" post that I am going to a sporting event with my family on Sunday. Tia suggested I take healthy snacks with me, so that I am not tempted by the delicious ~ but evil ~ carb laden foods that they sell at these places.
So, can anyone give me good ideas on some snack items that I can stick in my purse that won't require refridgeration to take with me.
Just one more thing ~ I detest jerky.

I don't want to do nuts ~ I'm too addicted. That's one of my trigger foods. If I start, I can't stop. I am really afraid to eat anything.
I feel like an addict. If I start eating ~ anything ~ I don't want to stop. I will pick up a protein bar for the occasion.

Okay, I hear you on the not being able to stop. HOWEVER, since you're in control and going to be out of the house on Sunday, you can only eat what you portion out into your baggies!!! Seriously, count those nuts out, bag them up and you are done!!!
Sadly, a lot of foods are trigger foods for me. Or rather, food groups are triggers for me. Sucks, I know.

I always try to have protein bars on me. What about string cheese, carrot sticks, celery sticks with sf peanut butter, pre-bagged nuts, a low carb tortilla with sugar free peanut butter, or maybe cream cheese?
I always take a little bag with one of those ice packs to keep my stuff cold.
