Support Group Meetings

I am looking for support group meeting other then the one at John Hopkins Bayview.  My surgeon requires to support group meetings beofre surgery and now I am missing one because of the snow. I will be able to attend the one next thursday but today is over. My surgery date is March 2, 2010, so the next meeting is after my surgery. I am trying to keep my surgeon from resheduling my surgery because of work, and buying a house.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

i think you have to go to their meetings. unless she said you can go to another hospital, you might want to just call and tell them your situation.

I think I'd be on the phone with them posthaste tomorrow, asking what you can do.  Make sure they know you're willing to do whatever it takes - might give you a little edge.
