2 Year Surgiversary

Today is my 2 year anniversary of my RNY. I have to say that I am so happy I made this choice in my life. I've lost 105 lbs, have low cholesterol, no blood pressure issues and I have energy to do LOTS of things. I am only on one med now, though I could go off it. I'm not even on anti-depressants anymore. Although I am far from goal I hope that this year brings some more weight loss. I do believe that can be done.

Thanks to everyone who I've met on this journey. It has been a great experience for me. I've learned so much about myself and about being a participant in this thing called life. I hope to continue to support people here as well as get the support I need. This is not a solitary journey.

Things I can do now that I could not. I can shovel a couple hours and still have energy to do other things. We all know how much that has come in handy LOL.

All and all, I am grateful to have lost the weight I have. It has changed my life for the better and I could not ask for anything more.

Have a wonderful snow free Friday!
