even with the bobcat helping it took nearly 3 hours...(BUT 3 parking spots in front of my house are PRISTINE pavement clear)

BUT  I could do it...  without dying or my heart pounding or breathing hard

AND   I was able to wear two pairs of jeans  (size 18 over size 16) to keep warm

these are a few of my favorite memories of Snomaggedden 2010

I love my RNY!

Yes Nessa it took that long here as well. I did not shovel since I don't want to re injure my ankle. It was so much work for my sons. I have one this to be glad of during the storm. My son saw a Jeep turn over and he pulled the man out who was covered in blood while others stood and yelled the car is going to blow up. I am proud of him and glad he did it.

I bet it felt good to shovel without the nasty side effects and you got massive exercise.
Congrats on getting it done.

No Nessa he is no hero. He is just a person who tried to do what was right. It scared my 17 year old though. I am thankful for them everyday. They help me so much. I hope you get some rest before the next snow on Monday & Tuesday.

HIJACK!
Hi Julie, You should be very proud of both your sons. They are both wonderful boys that always are polite and very attentive to you and others.
Now, I love that quote at your signature. Is that new? I just noticed it, and I absolutely love what it says and means. Do you know the author? I didn't see anything there, but I don't always see the best. If you do know who said and or wrote this please let me know thanks, Leslie:)  P.S. How is Weigh****chers going for you??

A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles."

He did what was right.    Just because he could and he knew he should cause his momma raised him right...

He is a hero.
