horseback riding

Does anyone ride?  I grew up riding and have been wanting to get back into it like crazy.  My parents live on a farm, and I could keep a horse there but its an hour away.  I doubt I would be able to ride much there.  If anyone has any experience riding in the area please share.  We live near Arundel Mills but I would be willing to travel to somewhere to ride. 

I  kept a trailer at the place where I boarded my horses.  There are tons of riding trails in the DC, Balt area.

Also they have several riding stables in the area.  Google them. 

we have a friend with horses and we are going to learn to ride in the spring...  but she does not do public lessons and we are an hour from Arundel Mills anyway.

Hello, I live in Crofton and there is a riding stable on Underwood Rd. I think the name is equlibrium riding stables. Good luck hope you find a good stable.
