Hey guys, again, I'm sure this has been answered before so my apologies for asking again, but does anyone know an easy method for calculating the protein in meals we make at home. I'm wanna figure out the protein in the turkey chili I make. It's just ground turkey, kidney beans, and a jar of ragu w/veggies.  I'm not a big cooker, but I wanna learn and I'd like to know how much protein I'm making... Thanks!

Hi there,

Personally I use nutritiondata.com to find out the protein per ounce of most things.  I believe there are some tools on dailyplate.com and sparkpeople.com that allow you to type your recipe and it will give you your stats.

Hope that helps,
Heather

you can plug all the ingredients in to spark people and tell it how many servings and it will give you all the details.www.sparkpeople.com
