Hurting...so bad

I Usually love the snow, I don't complain too much about shoveling, but holy crap! This is just insane.  Our house has a 100 foot drive way, and we have yet to make it to the bottom of the driveway.  To top the whole thing off, this morning I slipped and fell on the ice in the driveway where we shoveled out last night.  Fell right on my butt and back/shoulders (thank god I have lots of padding in the rear) but OMG as of 3:30 today, I am in SOOO much pain.  I know this has nothing to do with WLS; but I needed to vent, and I feel bad complaining to my husband who is still busting his butt shoveling the snow...
Hope everyone is doing better than I am today!

Yes, we have a snow blower that is out of order.  We discovered this little bit of knowledge during the last big storm in December.  Well after that storm My Husband Said " If i get it fixed we wont have another flake of snow fall, if I don't get it fixed we will get another huge storm"  Needless to say we didn't get it fixed lol! He jinxed us!

Yea, I am blaming the storm on him!
I know, our streets had one pass through with a low sometime yesterday morning, they are a mess, I am really not sure if I am going to go to work tomorrow.  I feel like a sissy not going, but between the terrible roads around our house and the pain I am in from the fall (as of now) not sure I am going to do it.  But since I am having surgery in a month I have been trying really hard to not take off of wor****il then.  But I guess this is a special cir****tance.

So sorry you fell. I fell last storm and broke my ankle. I am glad you did not break anything. My son has been bugging me to buy a snow blower but I did not think it was needed. Now I think everyone should own one or maybe two. LOL. I hope you will feel better soon and hope the pain is not to bad. Vent all you want and kick your hubby's butt. This is all his fault.

I will just repeat!  I hate SNOW!

I do have to admit, at least shoveling snow can count for exercise... and I hate exercise as I get no instant result... yet with snow removal I can SEE accomplishment - therefore its better for me...

Good luck getting out!
