3 THINGS FOR MONDAY!

OMG!  Where to begin?  I hope everyone is safe, and that you were smart and stayed home.  I've heard the roads are terrible!  Me, I'm not going anywhere till spring.  Sigh.  Our two cars are still buried, and since I'm still sick, of course, no one wants me out there shoveling.  BUT....I also don't want my father out there shoveling!!!  My brother's coming over, but I told them to just leave my car - not sure I want anyone near my new car with a sharp object anyway!!!  LOL!!

Today, I'm grateful for:

1.  That the USPS had the good sense to close on Saturday.  There was some question, but thank God they did the right thing.

2.  For liberal leave - Didn't matter though, I'm not going anywhere!

3.  Instant Starbucks coffee - I've got enough to get me through tomorrow, and I'll have my brother get me some today!!!  Gotta have my coffee!!!

Okay, be safe and stay warm and indoors if you can!

Morning all!

Wish I could say it was a good morning but it is what it is!

Today I am grateful for:

1.  My two brothers and sisterinlaw who came over and helped dig me out!  Took us

a good 2.5 to 3 hours but we are good to go - at least until tomorrow night

2.  That most of my friends are home safe and sound!

3.  That I finally made it to work LOL  Had no trouble till I got 5 minutes from work
Then it took me an hour to work my way thru all the trucks abandoned around

the truck stop in Jessup.  Finally made it for which I am so grateful!

Stay safe and warm everyone!

YOU be careful heading home!!!  And pay attention to the weather - they're calling for a possible 5-10" from Tuesday - Wednesday.

I know about the next storm :  I'm seriously considering staying in a hotel up the street
from work ---  Only 1 warehouseman got in today and the whole night crew called out!

Two of the other ladies in the office came in together today :  and the one with the 4 wheel

drive has already said she won't be in if we get a another foot of snow -  this is such
a pain :  Many of the carriers picking up today have been unable to get to us.

State police not letting any trucks off at our exit because of the log-jam at
the truckstop.

  this week truly will suck!

Well, if you DO stay down there, PLEASE hit a grocery store so you have some supplies!!!  And be careful, whatever you do.

I am glad to hear you & Darla are safe & sound....I haver spoken to a few people from here, so I am relieved. The roads here on the Shore are still nasty! But I am used to it after living here for 30+ years!

Today I am grateful for:

1}my daughter & I used our "womanly" essence to convince the local company who plows our roads to plow our driveway! Thankfully, they were "men" and fell for it! LOL

2} For my weight loss.....I was able to fit into Lizzie's carhardt coveralls to finish shovelling outside! I never in a million years thought I would be able to fit in them.....and fit in them with 3 pairs of sweats underneath!!!!!!

3} That so far, all my family & friends are safe & warm after the storm!

Hey Hojo!

Glad all of you are safe, too!  As far as your womanly wiles, well, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!!!  LOL!!!!!

And what a NSV - to be able to shovel AND fit in Lizzie's coveralls!!!  You go, girl!

Hugs,

Tia

Afternoon!  Late check in.....

Today I am grateful for:

1.  NO STRICTURE!! WOOT!!!  Last week I had an Upper Gi and the radiology report listed I had a stricture. Today I met with the surgeon and he said nope... the radiologist did not read the films correctly for a sleeve patient!

2.  Family who came and got us out this weekend.  Bill managed to get the truck stuck and my car was burried on the street.  My sil's bf had us out in no time.

3.  Wendy's chili.  I am not a fan of chili at all but tried this today as so many people early out swear by it.  It sat sooooo well!
