Ugh! The scale isn't moving!

I've been stuck at the same spot for 3 weeks now and it's really starting to frustrate me. I know it's totally normal and I've made great progress so far, but I'm getting antsy. I only need to lose 20 lbs to get under 200 for the first time since I was 12!!! I noticed that I started losing hair about the same time that my scale broke, so I'm sure it's just my body adjusting, but it really needs to get with the program! Thanks for letting me vent.

I know this is hard for you.

today I'm 204.

I'm dying here...

all we can do is just keep on keeping on....

Hang in there Brandi. It will move.

Me? I have plateau'd. Not sure how I feel about where I plateau'd but it is what it is, you know? I think the part of this process they do not prepare us for is the plateau. Eventually the scale just stops and if you don't prepare yourself it can be pretty jarring.

((((hugs))))

Stalls suck.

January was a slow freaking month for me and it drove me nuts.  I'm hoping Feb picks up a bit.  I'm back to being a little more religious with my measuring and logging to see if I can find out what's stopped things.

I'm antsy too - I want to be under 200 for our trip in late May.  Dumb scales anyway.

Many times I've found that in an extended stall, upping my protein and fluids has helped.

I think we all have a love/hate relationship with our scales... It is what keeps us in check as we go through the process - it helps us figure out what we are doing wrong and what works for us.

Yet when it is stuck we HATE it... but it may be telling you that your mody needs to adjust a bit and that you are losing inches...

Good luck breaking your stall - once it breaks you will be sailing down again!

I have been sitting at the same place for a while now too.  I actually went up a couple pounds.  I need to get into the gym or just into walking more and I hope it helps.  I have been getting more fluids in but not for sure as much protein as I should be getting.  I think I need to go back to the basics.

Stick with it, I was so excited when I was 199 instead of 200.  That one pound, it just makes a huge difference to me for some reason.
